The eRanger at the Palace of Westminster

Parked in the New Palace Yard, next to the Members' entrance and in the shadow of Big Ben, the latest model of the eRanger Ambulance made a welcome distraction to MPs as they made their way to and from the House of Commons, on Monday evening.

The occasion was the Opening Ceremony of a week long opportunity for MPs, Lords and others to view the work being carried out across the world by projects using eRangers as their transport solution.

The event is being sponsored by Phil Willis MP and DFID. Gillian Merron MP – Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for International Development opened the evening's event by speaking to the invited guests about her pride in British ingenuity making a real difference to people's lives.

Phil Willis spoke of his interest in seeing the good work that a local company was doing in the developing world. Phil Willis is MP for Harrogate and Knaresborough where the Ranger Production Company has its headquarters.
