Kenya, pilot project training completed

The five eRanger Ambulance units delivered earlier this year to the Department for International Development (DFID) funded pilot project in Suba and Homa Bay, Nyanza Province are now operational. The drivers having been trained in both maintenance and riding skills.

Our training team visited the Province earlier this year and completed the weeks training with great success. The riders were proud to be part of the team for this Government sponsored EHS program, that will test the effectiveness of the eRanger Ambulances in this part of Kenya.

The Essential Health Services (EHS) Programme is supported by the DFID under a bilateral agreement between the governments of Kenya and the United Kingdom. The Liverpool Associates for Tropical Health (LATH) in partnership with Liverpool VCT, Nuffield Centre for Health, and Health Unlimited manage the programme and provide technical assistance, while Crown Agents manage the procurement for EHS.
