By staying healthy and fit a person is better able to support and assist themselves. Drinking water is of course an essential for sustaining life. Water for sanitation and hygiene is also essential for sustaining health.
Poor water quality continues to pose a major threat to human health and is responsible for a significant percentage of the overall number of preventable deaths, and most as a result of unsafe water supply, sanitation and hygiene and mostly effects children in developing countries.

I often refer to it as “Health 101”, which means that once we can secure access to clean water and to adequate sanitation facilities for all people, irrespective of the difference in their living conditions, a huge battle against all kinds of diseases will be won."
Dr LEE Jong-wook
