The Mobilising Access to Maternal Health Services in Zambia (MAMaZ) programme focuses on generating robust evidence of what works to increase demand for and access to essential maternal and newborn health services, both emergency and routine.
The first phase of the MAMaZ project has taken delivery of 5 eRanger ambulance that have been deployed in 3 districts.
Training has already taken place in partnership with Transaid http://www.transaid.org/
in Zambia and the eRangers have been deployed to the 3 districts successfully.
A further 5 eRanger ambulances are on order and will be delivered to the MAMaz Zambia project in the next few months.
